It’s Friday, January 20, if you’re travelling around east London and Essex this morning, this traffic and travel news should make sure you get where you need to be on time:
Travel
As of 7.30am this morning, there was a good service on all London Underground lines, as well as on all London Overground services.
Traffic
Severe disruption is being experienced on the M25 clockwise between J27, Epping and J28, Brentwood this morning due to a vehicle fire.
The motorway is currently blocked with traffic queuing for several miles.
There is also heavy traffic on the M11 southbound between J5 for Loughton and J4 for the North Circular due to weight of traffic.
Weather
Scientists may have announced yesterday 2016 was the warmest year in history, but 2017 will struggle to match it if January is anything to go by.
Today is likely to be very chilly, with temperatures refusing to push higher than 2 or 3 degrees Celsius all day. Skies will however be clear and we should at least expect some sunshine.
