But what are the roads and rail network looking like? 

Here’s all you need to know for the day ahead.

Weather 

It will be a dry and sunny day, after a very frosty start. Despite the sunshine, and light winds, it will feel cold throughout the day.

Tube

On the Docklands Light Railway, there is no service between Gallions Reach and Beckton while we fix a track fault.

Tickets are being accepted on local buses.

There are minor delays on the Metropolitan Line due to late finish to engineering work.

Once again, there are severe delays on the Piccadilly Line while repairs are carried out to trains.

London Underground tickets will be accepted on local buses, Chiltern Railways, Great Western Railway, London Midland, Great Northern and London Overground.

Customers for stations between Ealing Common and Rayners Lane should change at Acton Town.

Customers for stations between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge should use Metropolitan line services.

On TfL Rail, there are minor delays between Liverpool Street and Shenfield due to an earlier faulty train.

There is a good service on the rest of the line. 

Traffic 

Traffic is slow on the A406 North Circular Road westbound between M11 / Charlie Brown's Interchange (Woodford) and A112 (Crooked Billet Underpass, Walthamstow).

There is queueing traffic on the A12 into town between Beehive Lane and A406 North Circular Road (Redbridge Roundabout).

Queueing traffic on the A104 Lea Bridge Road into town between A1006 Markhouse Road and A107 Upper Clapton Road (Lea Bridge Roundabout).

And finally, traffic is queueing on the M11 southbound between junction 5 A1168 (Loughton) and junction 4 A406 North Circular (Woodford).
