Chase Farm Hospital are calling for green-fingered volunteers as their garden fundraiser approaches £100,000.
The hospital trust is attempting to raise £120,000 to build a “dementia garden” – a green space where patients can relax and support their fading mental and physical health.
Since November last year they have raised £96,000 and are now seeking community support for the final push.
They will be hosting a public planting session, installing trees and flowers in what has been built of the garden so far, between 9.30am and 1.30pm on Friday (October 14).
