North London’s NHS mental health trust held a series of awareness-raising events on Monday (October 10).
Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) marked Monday, which was World Mental Health Day, with stalls across the three boroughs, including at the Meritage Centre and outside Wood Green library.
BEH chief executive Maria Kane said: "Around one in four people will experience a mental health issue at some point in their lives. You probably know somebody who has anxiety, a phobia or a sleep disorder.
"This is why it’s so important to celebrate World Mental Health Day so we can raise awareness of all mental health issues and help to breakdown the stigma surrounding them.”
