There will be no Overground services running through Enfield and Tottenham at all this coming weekend (September 24 and 25).

No trains will operate on the line between Liverpool Street and Enfield Town and Cheshunt, with replacement buses from Seven Sisters to stations further north.

The service has been closed at certain times on previous weekends for maintainance work, but travellers will now have to make new arrangements as the route is shut for the full two days.

The L1 bus service will stop at stations between Seven Sisters and Enfield Town, while L2 will take passengers to Cheshunt.

There will also be no Overground service between Liverpool Street and Walthamstow Central, although trains will run between the latter station and Chingford.

The L3 replacement bus will be available to take people between Hackney Downs and Walthamstow Central, while tickets will also be accepted on Abellio Greater Anglia and Underground routes.

The Overground line between Gospel Oak and Barking remains closed until February.
