Police have tweeted an Enfield youtuber is "safe and well" after online conspiracy theorists claimed she was being held captive.
Marina Joyce, a 19-year-old beauty blogger with over 600,000 followers on her channel, caused concern for her fans after she posted a message inviting them to a party in Bethnal Green.
Meet me Bethnal Green at 6:30am if you would like to join partying with me at that event ^-^ bring a friend so you dont get lost

tweet me now if you wanna party with me :D ill put details out for where to meet soon for the day
This led to online hysteria over a "change" in her behaviour, and even claims she was being forced to make new videos, all under the hashtag #savemarinajoyce.
As a result, Enfield police were forced to visit her last night to make sure she was safe - which both they and Ms Joyce confirmed via Twitter.
Officers have visited YouTube user Marina Joyce. She is safe and well. #ETeam #savemarinajoyce
