They have conquered - and baffled - the world, now the Pokemon have come to Enfield.
The mobile game Pokemon Go has become a phenomenal success since its release last week in the UK, and crowds of people have been seen playing the game around the borough.
Users 'catch' the monsters, which first became popular in the 1990s with a hit series of anime and videogames, and train them in battle.
The game uses “augmented reality” – meaning the computer generated creatures appear as if in the real world on your phone or tablet, and are more likely to appear in places of public interest.
Some areas, like the garden outside Enfield Town Library, are Pokestops, where players can collect items for their journey.
Other places, like the Dugdale Centre, are Gyms where players can challenge each other.

Kids and workmen all around our (apparently quite barren) village playing Pokemon Go. Moans that the nearest gym is in Enfield.
