An Enfield woman has become the poster girl of a new Coca-Cola ad campaign.
Environmental Manager Maryanne Proctor, an environmental manager at the company’s Edmonton site, is the most recent star in the Made in GB adverts, which promotes their connections to local businesses.
Ms Proctor, who has worked for Coke since 1999 making sure the Edmonton factory does not harm the environment, said she is proud to have been chosen.
She said: “As a child, I loved to understand how things work and see things being made – one of my first memories is seeing things being made on production lines on Play School.
“I think diversity and inclusion is essential for the success of any sustainable business and I am proud to be a part of a campaign which shines a light on diversity in the workplace.”
Nicholas Nixon, operations director at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Edmonton, said: “I’m delighted that Maryanne has had the opportunity to be involved in a campaign that sheds a light on the opportunities that exist within the industry as a whole.
“The new advert underlines our ongoing commitment to the Edmonton area.”
The ad starring Ms Proctor will be widely shared on social media and on local advertisements.
