Abandoned clothes belonging to a man who has been missing for nearly a month have been discovered in Central London.

Obi Xipe Khan, 29 from Palmers Green, who previously used the name Ekbal Obi Khan, has not been seen since Tuesday, 12 January.

Police say they are very concerned for his wellbeing, and urge Mr Khan to contact them, his family or his friends as soon as possible.

They say their enquiries so far suggest he travelled to the Lambeth area, and have found items owned by Mr Khan close to Lambeth Bridge.

One of the items found was a long black trench coat (pictured); officers believe he was wearing this when he went missing.

Mr Khan is Asian, around 5ft2 and muscular, with short black hair and a beard. It is not known what he might now be wearing.

Police ask anyone who was in the Lambeth area when he disappeared, or have seen anyone matching his description, to get in touch.

Anyone who has seen him, or who knows of his whereabouts, should contact police in Enfield via 101.
