An Enfield MP will be among those tossing for charity next week when he takes part in an annual parliamentary tradition.

Southgate MP David Burrowes is one of 24 competitors in the 2016 running of the annual Rehab Parliamentary Pancake Race, taking place beside the Houses of Parliament in Westminster.

The race, in support of the disability charity Rehab, sees teams of MPs, Lords and the media take part in a foot race while flipping pancakes at the same time. Taking place on this Shrove Tuesday - February 9 from 10am - among the participants this year are some high-profile media faces including ITV News' Alistair Stewart, the BBC's Robbie Gibb, and Sky News' Sophy Ridge.

Having won in 2015, the Media Team is hoping to secure two back-to-back wins, with the MPs not having won the race since 2013 and the Lords since 2014.
