A MAN has appeared in court over allegations he carried out sex attacks against children.

Apedelrazek Badran, of Hadrians Ride, Enfield, has been charged with sexual offences and impersonating a police officer.

The 32-year-old is also accused breaching a sexual harm prevention order.

On Monday, October 19, a ten-year-old girl was approached in Santers Lane, Potters Bar, at around 4.30pm.

A man walked past the girl before turning back, and walking past her again, before grabbing her bag.

But she managed to startle him by throwing a drink in her face and he ran off without touching her.

On Tuesday, November 3 at around 5.30pm, two 11-year-old boys were walking along Shrublands, in Potters Bar, when they reached the alleyway that leads to Elmfield Close.

They were approached by a man from behind who pushed one of the boys to the floor and touched him inappropriately.

On Monday, November 9, at 5pm, a man on a bike approached a group of 11-year-old girls in Oakmere Park.

He told them he was investigating a report from police about a theft of alcohol and he needed to search them, threatening to call the police if they resisted.

He then touched the girls inappropriately over their clothes.

He appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates on Saturday, January 30, where he was also charged with possession of cannabis and theft. He will next appear at Wood Green Crown Court on February 29 in connection with the offences,
