The inquest into the death of the daughter of a leading human rights lawyer has been set for next month.
QC Michael Mansfield’s daughter Anna, 44, of Enfield, ended her life on May 1, this year.
The mother had receiving a redundancy notice just weeks before committing suicide.
At a pre-inquest trial at Barnet Coroners Court, in Wood Street, coroner Andrew Walker deemed it necessary to hear evidence from GP Laurie Davies who saw Ms Mansfield before her death.
Michael Mansfield, 73, spoke at the SOS Silence of Suicide event at the Leamington Assembly, Royal Leamington Spa, shortly after his daughter’s death.
He described her as an ‘ebullient, courageous, loving, social young woman’ during the talk
The inquest will be sat on December 15 at the Barnet court.
It is expected to last one week.
