The borough preserved its status as one of the leafiest boroughs in London as it claimed green flag status for another year.
The Green Flag award scheme celebrates parks across the capital and eight parks preserved their green flag status.
Hoisting the flag aloft at Grovelands Park, in Winchmore Hill, Councillor Daniel Anderson, cabinet member for environment was delighted with the award.
The councillor said: “This is fantastic news for Enfield and especially for those successful parks.
“Parks staff along with the Friends Groups continue to do a marvellous job in providing first rate facilities in parks across the borough for everyone to enjoy during the difficult economic period.
“I’d urge residents this autumn to go out and see what is happening in our parks. Entertainment, cycle paths, outdoor gyms, guided walks and new play equipment, all there to be used and enjoyed.
"We will do everything we can to retain our Green Flags and work with the Friends Groups to improve the parks experience in Enfield."
The award winning parks are:
Bush Hill Park, Trent Country Park, Jubilee Park, Oakwood Park, Town Park, Forty Hall Park, Grovelands Park and Pymmes Park
