The mayor’s charity fun run is back once for next month.

The fun run at Forty Hall will see a 3km and 10km run on Sunday, September 20, with all the proceeds being donated to support local dementia charities.

Councillor Nneka Keazor, Enfield council’s cabinet member for public, health and sport, said: “The fun runs in Enfield are thoroughly enjoyable and have been successful every year.

"I’m urging everyone who is free on Sunday, September 20 to sign up. It’s a fantastic way to spend time with friends and family, while keeping fit and raising money for a good cause.”

Mayor of Enfield Cllr Patricia Ekechi said: “The fun run is a great way to spend your morning in a beautiful setting while supporting a good cause. All money raised for the c appeal fund will be going to dementia charities to help sufferers and their carers in Enfield.

“Dementia is a terrible disease that robs the person of their sense of awareness, and impacts on the entire family. I am delighted that this year all money raised from the charity fun run will be going to help these people in our community”.
