Thousands of pounds were raised as staff and students flocked to a summer fete.

Parents and children from the Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust’s five schools, as well as the wider community, came together for its annual summer fete.

More than 1,000 students, staff and parents attended the fun-filled afternoon, which included bouncy castles and an inflatable assault course.

Also on offer were a range of stalls run by staff and students, including a crowd favourite 'Beat the Goalie'.

The fete provided the opportunity for staff and students to gather together and celebrate the end of the school year with their friends and family.

A total of £2,500 was raised to be split between the schools – which include Cuckoo Hall, Woodpecker Hall, Kingfisher Hall, Heron Hall and Enfield Heights academies - to support new educational initiatives for its students.
