A dance troupe is set to perform live to the nation on Britain’s Got Talent this week.

Intelligent Minds Dance Legion (IMD Legion) hope to book their place in Saturday's grand final when they perform on the ITV talent show tomorrow night.

Khyrese Heron, 14, of Ponders End, has been part of the east London street dance crew for more than a year and was part of the team that made the final of Sky One’s Got to Dance programme last year.

The group has already beaten thousands of acts after impressing judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alisha Dixon.

Khyrese's mother Sharon Campbell told the Enfield Independent the performance brought tears to her eyes.

She said: “He was so nervous but pumped at the same time to perform on Britain’s Got Talent. I have been blown away by the work of everyone in IMD Legion, they are hoping to take it to a whole new level.”

IMD currently has to rent studio space, which can be costly, and the group says winning could secure its future.
