A third fire in less than 24 hours has broken out in Enfield.
More than 1,200 tonnes of compost caught light at a farm on The Ridgeway, in Enfield, this morning.
Four fire engines and 20 fire fighters from Enfield, Southgate and Barnet spent more than an hour battling the flames until the blaze was under control at 8.50am.
This follows the fire in the early hours of this morning in Fairfield Close, in Edmonton and yesterday afternoon’s fire in a flat in Ayley Croft, in Enfield.
