High achieving pupils helped their school win a national prize.
Eversely Primary School, in Chaseville Park Road, Southgate, won an award at the Pupil Premium awards because of the number of its pupils who achieved level five or about in the key stage two SATs last year.
Headteacher Patricia Wood was presented with the prize by Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Minister of State for Cabinet Office and Minister of State for Schools David Laws.
The school will spend the £25,000 prize money on helping further reduce the attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and their classmates.
