Police officers were forced to smash the window of a car and drag the driver out after a chase.
Enfield Borough Council’s CCTV operators spotted a stolen BMW driving along Lea Valley Road, in Southbury, at 1.40am on March 5.
Three police units caught up with the driver at traffic lights on the A10 and one police officer was forced to dodge him as he tried to accelerate away.
Police officers managed to corner him and stop him escaping.
Mohammed Ibrahim Kadri, 32, of Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, has been charged with driving a car whilst disqualified from driving.
He is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' today (Wednesday, March 18).
