A 13-year-old boy has appeared in court today charged with the murder of Jack Barry in Edmonton.
The 53-year-old was stabbed in the chest in the Brickland Court flats on The Broadway, in Edmonton, on Sunday evening, following an altercation with a group of men who were trying to enter the building.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Highbury Corner Youth Court and will now be remanded in a youth detention accommodation.
He will appear at the Old Bailey on Friday.
Four other boys, aged 13 and 14, have been bailed until January after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
