Calls have been made to help support a cancer charity’s latest campaign.

People in Enfield have been urged to take part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s tree of light campaign, which was launched on Friday.

Residents can go to their local branch of NatWest and pick up a Macmillan Tree of Light decoration for a suggested donation of £3 to the charity. The decorations can be personalised with a message of love, hope or remembrance for a loved one this Christmas.

Melanie Failes, partnership manager at Macmillan Cancer Support, said: “I’d like to say a huge thanks to all the staff at NatWest for helping to take the spirit of Macmillan’s Tree of Light across North London.

“All of the money raised by your generous customers and staff will make a vital difference to Macmillan as we aim to support even more affected by cancer this Christmas.”
