Scouts putting the finishing touches to their annual pantomime receive a special visit from a former X Factor star.
Whilst the scouts from across north London perform a unique version of Beauty and the Beast, singer Chico dropped in to give some advice.
The man who shot to number one in the charts with It's Chico Time said: “It was brilliant to meet and work with so many enthusiastic and talented Scouts. I loved my day with the London Pantomimers and if the rehearsal was anything to go by, then I can’t wait to see the real thing."
With the show running for 69 years, longer than The Mousetrap, which claims to be the longest running show in the world, the scout group feels it has a claim to fame.
Melanie McBride, a 13-year-old scout from Enfield will be appearing in her first show and said: “This is my first ever panto, which makes me super duper excited, and it’s going to be an amazing show”.
The London Pantomimers will perform at the Intimate Theatre, in Palmers Green from December 4 until 13.
