An Enfield man is one of seven people to be charged with conspiracy to supply heroin.

Bilal Bildik, 60, of Severn Drive, in Enfield, was charged with the offence at Bromley Magistrates Court, on October 1.

Arif Bullici, 35, of East London, Emra Kosmaz, of Islington, Salman Male, 29, Diyar Khalid, 38, and Kovan Kochar, 24, all of Birmingham, and Dutch national Gijsbertus Den-Hertog, 48, were all charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Detectives seized 48kg of heroin with a street value of £20million in an operation to stop drug trafficking.

Some 30kg of the drug was found in a vehicle in Crewe with the other 18kg found at an address in Huxley Road, Edmonton.

All were remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on October 15.
