The march to the arch was on for a property company as they took on a five-a-side tournament next to Wembley stadium.

Fairview Homes took on other property companies in the London Property Fives tournament which was held at Powerleague Wembley close to the iconic stadium.

The side battled their way to the quarter finals of the tournament before being knocked out in a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw.

Senior sales manager Vasos Ptohopoulos said that despite a nasty injury he suffered in the first game, the team had had a great day.

He said: “Events like these are fantastic for fostering team spirit and it was also good to get together with people working within the property industry in London.

“I thought we did extremely well to get to the quarter finals, even though we were all disappointed to go out on penalties.

“Of course these things are always competitive to some degree but there was much more to it, not least the charity aspect. A percentage of each team’s entry fee was donated to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.”
