Students from a college have been celebrating their A level results.

Pupils at Woodhouse College in Finchley can now count the days until they get to their dream university after excelling in the A level exams.

Pupils did not have make the anxious journey to the college as they could find out their results online and celebrate in their own homes.

Reiss Greenblatt, also from Enfield, gained two A* grades and an A and is going to Durham to study  psychology.

Reiss won five prizes at the end of year awards plus a Jack Petchey award for his contribution in mentoring and supporting other students.

Edmonton teenager Rathai Balasubramaniam from achieved three A* grades, and has been rewarded with a place at Kings College London to study medicine.

Clarissa Combe, of Enfield will be celebrating her fine results with a place at Oxford after receiving an A* and two As in her A-levels.

Principal John Rubinstein said: “We’re all very proud of how well our students have done, they’ve all worked incredibly hard and deserve to have achieved such outstanding results. Our students are going on to the next chapter of their education, most moving on to university.”

In this year's results, the college's tally of A* grades rose to 8.3 per cent, with a 99.3 per cent pass rate.
