Children had to be rushed out of hospital after an unexpected visitor fell through the ceiling of a paediatric ward.
A fox had scrambled its way onto the top of North Middlesex University Hospital, in Silver Street, Edmonton, while building was taking place on the site.
As a result of the urban fox's unannounced entrance through a ceiling tile in the ward, eight children and staff were evacuated.
A spokesman for the hospital said that no-one was hurt in the incident, which took place in the non-patient area of the ward, and the ward was temporarily relocated to another part of the hospital.
The RSPCA removed the fox following the crash landing on June 22, and the ward is now working normally once again.
