Disabled public transport users will soon be able to renew their passes only by post or online.
The freedom pass allows disabled people in the borough to have free travel on almost all public transport in London.
Residents will no longer be able to renew their passes at post offices after March 31, 2015 and Enfield Borough Council is encouraging people to post their application or fill out an online form.
Cabinet member for environment, Councillor Chris Bond said: “We want to make sure that everyone who is eligible for a Freedom Pass has one and ensures it is renewed in good time.
"That’s why residents with Freedom Passes need to be aware of the change to the renewal process, the quickest and most effective way to renew is online either in person or by enlisting the help of a loved one if necessary.
“People who don’t have access to the internet can either take advantage of our excellent libraries or use the computers there to complete the online application. Residents can also apply by post, but this takes a significantly longer period.”
