A youth parliament member quizzed the speaker of the House of Commons and witnessed the spectacle of Prime Minister's questions at close quarters.
Maya Caddle, a pupil at North London Collegiate School and youth parliament member of Enfield was given the chance to discuss politics with John Bercow MP at Speaker’s House.
The 17-year-old, who studies politics, was given an insight into the career of Mr Bercow
She said: “It was an absolute honour to meet the Speaker. He was incredibly down to earth and I found it both fascinating and interesting to find out about his background.
“Watching PMQs from the Speaker's Gallery in the Commons was definitely an experience I won't forget. It was engaging, fast paced and incredibly loud.”
