Vulnerable families and refugees are among those who will benefit after voluntary groups were given iPads.
Home Start Enfield, which help vulnerable families with a child under five, were one of four groups to receive their iPad from Enfield Borough council cabinet member for community Yasemin Brett.
Central African Youth, a group that helps refugees integrate into British life, Breathe Easy, who offer support for people affected by lung conditions and the Enfield Caribbean Association, were also given the tablet computers.
Cllr Yasemin Brett, said: “Thanks to this generous donation these four community groups will benefit from better IT and will be able to help their clients even more.
“We are delighted to be able to present these groups with iPads, and hope that they will be able to use them to continue their good works in supporting the people of Enfield and improving their quality of life.”
