Enfield Southgate MP David Burrowes will be hosting a second cricket match in as many months for charity.
The MP, who saw his side emerge victorious against fellow Enfield MP Nick de Bois last month, has organised a second cricket match.
The match will raise money for North London Hospice, based in Enfield and Barnet, and will take place at Winchmore Hill Cricket Club, in Ford’s Grove, Winchmore Hill, on Friday, July 11.
Looking for a second win in a row, a David Burrowes XI face off against a side from the cricket club and will start at 5pm.
As well as the cricket match, the day will see a barbecue, sports activities for children and a raffle and auction prize for the charity.
Mr Burrowes said: "I am delighted to be hosting this match once again and hope that the local community turns out to support the good work that the North London Hospice does.
“My team of assorted local cricketers will be taking on a Winchmore Hill CC XI.
“There will be a BBQ, Pimms, fun activities for the kids, a great raffle and auction prizes - all for a very good cause.
“Please come along and join me this Friday for what is sure to be a lovely afternoon and evening."
Entrance to the club will be free of charge all day.
