The Mayor of Enfield has officially opened a new garden at a care home in Edmonton.

Mayor Ali Bakir cut the ribbon to the new outdoor space at Murrayfield Nursing Home, in Dysons Road, during a celebration on Friday.

The politician was the special guest at the unveiling, where local school children played music for some of the homes residents.

Mr Bakir was not afraid to get his hands dirty at the event, and helped with the final planting of some shrubs to mark the event.
