An inclusive theatre group was given a mini-makeover by volunteers from a building firm.

Trainees at Wilmott Dixon visited Chickenshed theatre company, in Chase Side, Enfield, to decorate dressing rooms, put up new shelving and lighting, along with a host of other handy work.

The Wilmott Dixon Foundation, the charitable arm of the firm, arranges for trainees to provide help to community projects in their area in their final year.

The company chose Chickenshed, which is celebrating its 40th year in 2014, because Wilmott Dixon laid the original foundations of the theatre when it was built more than 20 years ago.
