Life on the open road it was not for this industrial lorry driver when he accidentally found himself caught down a narrow residential street.

The driver’s sat-nav diverted the 30-foot HGV down Norfolk Avenue, off Wolves Lane, south Enfield, where he became stuck for 30 minutes yesterday (Tuesday).

Resident Carl Orr came out to help the HSF Logistics driver and was able to use his iPhone to direct him towards his destination of Marigold Foods in White Hart Lane, Tottenham.

The driver managed to manouvre out of the road without further incident, if a little embarrassed.

It would surely help if Marigold and other HGV drivers were given the correct postcode for the White Hart Works development on White Hart Lane which is N17 7RQ. the site is west of the A10 and not the postcode N17 7BF or postcode N17 7QR which appears on listings. Shame really
