A team of friends raised more than £1,200 for a cancer charity during Sunday’s Race for Life.
The Pink Frogz team took on the Cancer Research UK 10km run in Trent Park on Sunday.
They joined thousands of other women for the annual fundraiser, contributing a total of £1,250 in sponsorship. Their initial target was just £500.
Pink Frogz is an arts and crafts company based in Enfield Town. The group of fun runners was formed by owner Serafina Baffa, with her eight-year-old daughter Olivai Zazzi and mother Franca Baffa, 71, among the team.
Elif Mehmet, Rupal Gosai, Giselle Moorhouse and Giovanna Baffa were also among the 12-strong group, who met through friends and family.
