A second woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old woman in Edmonton.
A 47-year-old woman was today taken into a North London police station on suspicion of murder after a woman was stabbed at the corner of Fore Street and Grove Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A post-mortem examination at Haringey Mortuary took place on Tuesday, giving the cause of death as a single stab wound to the stomach.
One woman, 38, was arrested on suspicion of murder on the same day as the fatal stabbing.
She has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police are attempting to track down the next of kin to formally identify the 20-year-old victim.
They are also appealing for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.
