Two men have been cleared of murdering a teenager in Palmers Green last year.

Kreshnik Etemi, 18, of Hill Road, in Muswell Hill, and Hali Ankay, 18, of Masefield Crescent, in Southgate, were acquitted this morning of murdering Joshua Folkes, 17, in Bowes Road, in the early hours of December 3, 2013.

Neither of the pair were found individually responsible having the weapon that was used in the killing of Mr Folkes.

This morning, Judge Christopher Moss directed the jury to acquit the pair of murder, stating that there was insufficient evidence to try the pair.

An unnamed 17-year-old, who is also on trial for the murder of Mr Folkes, known as Money J, has given evidence at the Old Bailey this morning.

He denies the murder.
