Tributes have been left for a motorcyclist who died after colliding with a milk float last week.

Dozens of bouquets of flowers and heartfelt messages have been tied to posts in tribute of Hasan Turgay, 26, who died on Tuesday, May 20.

A moving message from Mr Turgay’s family reads: “We are missing you so much, you will never be forgotten. You are in safe hands, Allah is looking after you now.

“You are the kindest, sweetest person in the world, you shouldn’t have gone like this and at a young age. Love you always with our heart and soul.”

A flower wreath spelling out ‘Has’ also sits at the road side on Ridge Avenue, in Winchmore Hill, where the incident took place at approximately 11.30pm last Tuesday.

Another message from a loved one said: “I can’t believe I am writing this. You’re always going to be in my heart. You’re my breath, without you there’s no air, I can’t breathe without you. I love you so much, you are the world to me. You are my sunshine.”

A tribute left by Huseyin, his brother, said: “You are my brother and the best friend any man could ask for. We will meet again soon. Until then, rest in peace.”

Candles also adorn the site where Mr Turgay died, with one light still shining this morning.

One message said: "Still can't believe you are gone. You will never be forgotten, forever in our thoughts."

Anoter reads: "We miss you so much, the jokes you brought to us will never be forgotten. You will be forever missed and pray you get your wings and are in a better place."

Police enquiries continue into the incident and so far, no arrests have been made.
