A new pharmacy claiming to offer a new approach to healthcare has opened in Enfield creating 13 jobs.
Lloyds Pharmacy's new branch in Hertford Road, Enfield, will open 9am to 7pm from Monday to Friday and from 9am to 5.30pm on Saturday and the group is hopeful of offering more services to the community.
The pharmacy will no offer free services for a variety of conditions such as skin health and pain management.
Pharmacy manager Georgina Julian said: “We are delighted to be a pioneer in a project that will do much to raise awareness of healthcare needs at a local level.
“What we want to do is help people discuss their health problems, offer support on how we can help them and how they can help themselves, all in relaxed surroundings where people can feel more comfortable talking about their concerns.”
