People who might be looking forward to hosting a barbecue in their local park as the weather warms up will not be able to.
Enfield Borough Council has reminded people in Enfield that barbecues and fires are banned from all of the borough’s parks and open spaces.
Their statement reads: “In the past the borough's parks and open spaces have been abused by irresponsible people having barbecues and fires.
“Consequently barbecues and fires have been banned from all of the borough's parks and open spaces. The Safer Neighbourhoods Parks Unit will enforce the ban through the park byelaws and failure to comply will result in prosecution.”
