A Level students organise concert for charity

Students at an Enfield school are gearing up to welcome six musical acts as part of a national music competition.

Ten A Level students at Oasis Academy in South Street, Ponders End, will stage the ‘original sounds’ concert at its school tomorrow for the 2014 BlastBeat competition.

The concert will see six acts from the local area perform along with a guest performance from music group Distinct.

The BlastBeat tournament allowed for teenagers around the UK to organise and host events and give aspiring music groups to win a deal with BlastBeat International, a music management company.

The concert will take place tomorrow at 7pm at the school and tickets are available by calling 020 8804 6946.

All profits from the concert will go to the schools charity 'Oasis Kyrgyzstan.'
