An Edmonton primary school is celebrating the opening of two new outdoor play areas.

Cuckoo Hall Academy in Nightingale Road, Edmonton has seen two play areas fitted outside for first and second key stage pupils.

The areas were designed by Sovereign and consist of interactive musical panels, a play lodge and story area with unusual toadstool seats.

Cuckoo Hall site manager Nick Efthymiou said: “We felt that Sovereign had really understood the brief for our new early years play area and interpreted our needs perfectly.

"We were very impressed with the design, so much so, that we invited them back to quote for our Key Stage 2 area! The children love their two new exciting play spaces, which they use every day.”
