Southgate MP David Burrowes teamed up with local residents to help replant trees in Grange Park.
Negotiations between Network Rail and the Tree Council has allowed for the restocking of trees and plants on the embankment in Grange Park.
One thousand new hedgerows were planted along with 100 new trees last week.
Mr Burrowes said: “Following on from the public and private meetings I have held with Network Rail on this issue, I was pleased to have an opportunity to view and take part in the replanting work plans with the Tree Council.”
