Four young men have been arrested after police recovered a sawn-off shotgun from an address in Enfield.
Officers stopped a vehicle in the Enfield Lock area at approximately 4.30pm yesterday.
A number of people got out and attempted to run away, but the officers ran after them and arrested two men.
A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of breaching an ASBO, and a 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being wanted on recall to prison.
Police then searched an address in Enfield where they found a sawn-off shotgun, four rounds of shotgun ammunition and a substance believed to be Class B drugs.
The 19-year-old and 21-year-old were re-arrested on suspicious of possession of a firearm and ammunition, and another 19-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested nearby for the same offence.
All four remain in custody at a north-east London police station.
