Help is at hand with launching your own business after a new scheme was launched at Edmonton Green Library.

Enfield Borough Council and Enterprise Enfield's 'New Biz’ initiative will give free help and support to those launching their own business.

Councillor Bambos Charalambous, Enfield Council’s cabinet member for culture, leisure youth and localism said: “The launch was a fantastic success. More than 15 new businesses signed up on the day and there was a huge turnout.

"Inspirational talks were given by both Katy Davies of KatyBakey and Garry Kousoulou of Loving Social Media, and those who attended really saw for themselves how it could help their business ideas get off the ground, and help them grow.

“If anyone in Enfield has a business idea, they really should find out more about this amazing opportunity.”

To be eligible for the scheme, residents must attend a Barclay’s ‘Getting Ready for Business’ seminar in Enfield Town Library on March 24.
