Gale force winds that tore through the UK have left their mark in the borough.
Winds battered all parts of the country late on Friday and Enfield was no exception as a 50ft tree was blown down in Village Road in Enfield, narrowly avoiding nearby homes.
Elsewhere in the borough a tree landed across Derby Road in Ponders End, which fell at around 7pm on Friday evening.
No injuries have yet been reported but the tree was inches from a parked car.
Enfield Borough Council have confirmed that the storms resulted in the loss of six trees in the borough’s parks and some damage to park fencing.
