Enfield Borough Council has organised a cycling taster day for people with a physical disability.
The event will take place on Monday, February 24 at the Lee Valley Centre in Meridian Way, Edmonton, between 10am and 3pm.
Cycles will be modified to suit all needs and will include tricycles and some two-seater bikes.
Councillor Don McGowan, Enfield Council’s cabinet member for adult services, care and health, said: “We want to give those who may have a physical disability or mobility problem the chance to try out the different models.
“We have hired the indoor arena at Lee Valley to avoid the risk of rain and we want to see as many people as possible at the event. I urge people to book up as soon as possible so that they can try the cycles. I can assure them that there is a cycle for almost every need.”
People can book a place by calling 02088870766 or emailing rosemary.claydon@enfield.gov.uk
