A west London hospital trust will today put forward their case to take over the trust that runs an Enfield hospital.
The Royal Free Hospital in Pond Street, Hampstead, will present its case to take over the Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals Trust at an overview and scrutiny meeting this morning.
In September 2012, the local trust picked Royal Free Hospital Trust to help it reach foundation trust status in a bid to cut the Barnet and Chase Farm Trust's deficit of more than £15million.
Having already submitted its business case on January 30, 2014 to the Trust Development Authority, the Royal Free Trust will undergo a three-month assessment.
The trust is expecting to takeover the Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals Trust by July 1, 2014.
