A man who has connections in Enfield has failed to appear at a police station in connection with theft charges.

Rocky Murtagh, 37, of Cheshunt, failed to return to Stevenage Police Station on January 20.

In March 2013, Murtagh pleaded guilty to trying to sell on £2,454 of equipment stolen from the River Church Unity North London Trust in Edmonton on January 21, 2013.

At the time, he was fined £790, and ordered to pay £370 compensation to Cash Converters and a victim surcharge of £60. Murtagh was also sentenced to undertake education, training and employment for 25 days and complete nine months 'treatment for drug dependency.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Hertfordshire Police immediately on the non-emergency number: 101 - quoting crime reference K2/13/297.
