Would-be councillors can find out more about the electoral process at a workshop next weekend.
The authority's chief executive Rob Leak will take prospective politicians through election arrangements at a meeting at Enfield Civic Centre in Silver Street, Enfield, on Saturday, February 8 between 10am and 12.30pm.
Mr Leak said: “This is a good opportunity for prospective candidates to meet officers informally and to ask any questions.
“We also want to make them aware of the rules governing elections and the procedures that help us to run the count and announcements. The workshop covers general information about the council; the roles and responsibilities of councillors; support available to councillors; and basic election rules.
“Anyone who will be involved in the forthcoming elections or is likely to have contact with prospective candidates will find this event useful.”
