Royal Mail will be making changes to its delivery routes in large parts of the borough.

People who live in EN1, EN2 or EN3 areas will see a slight change to delivery times as routes and methods change this week.

The postal service says the majority of customers will receive their mail by lunchtime but this could depend upon where a customer’s house is on the new routes.

Delivery times may also vary depending on the volume of mail each day.

Royal Mail says the changes are being made because the volume of letters posted is falling, and there is a greater amount of large items being delivered so the company is investing in new equipment to carry the items.
